isolved pricing: what is published, and what to ask a reseller

We may earn a commission when you sign up through some links on this page. Commissions never change our scores or the order of our lists. How we make money.

isolved does not publish prices: its website shows none for any product, and we found no dated third-party estimate (checked October 16, 2026). It also publishes no tax guarantee, contract or cancellation terms on the pages we checked.

isolved is often sold through resellers it calls Network Partners, so your isolved pricing, contract and support may come from a local payroll bureau. This page lists what we could verify, what a quote has to beat at 5, 10 and 25 employees, and what to ask.

isolved is an HR and payroll software platform (payroll, HR, time and benefits) sold directly and through reseller payroll bureaus, priced by quote.

isolved is an HR and payroll platform covering payroll, HR, time and benefits. Many buyers meet it through a local payroll bureau or reseller, which isolved calls Network Partners, rather than through isolved itself. That matters for price: the company that quotes you, signs your contract and answers your support calls may be the reseller. We could verify very little about isolved's prices or terms, and this page says so plainly. Scores follow our scoring method; we did not test isolved.

Because there is no price or estimate to check a quote against, we have kept this page out of search results until we can verify one. It is here so readers comparing Paycom, Paylocity and Paycor can see where isolved stands.

Why buying through a reseller changes the deal

isolved says it sells through reseller Network Partners as well as directly, so when a local payroll bureau sells you isolved, the price, contract and support may be the bureau's, running on isolved's software. Two businesses on the same platform can be quoted differently and get different service. Ask the seller three things first:

  • Who is the contracting party: isolved or the reseller?
  • Who files your payroll taxes and who pays a penalty if a filing is late?
  • If the reseller is sold or closes, what happens to your contract, data and W-2 access?

Our enterprise payroll guide covers how resellers and direct sales differ across the larger suites.

What an isolved quote has to beat

With no isolved price to show, the useful number is the benchmark. These are published prices and one dated estimate for payroll plus HR tools at three team sizes.

Payroll plus HR benchmarks, per month
Option5 employees10 employees25 employees
OnPay payroll + HR add-on ($49 + $6, plus $15 + $2)$104$144$264
Gusto Plus ($80 + $12 per person)$80 + $60 = $140$80 + $120 = $200$80 + $300 = $380
Paylocity core payroll and HR estimate ($18 to $22 per employee)$90 to $110$180 to $220$450 to $550

Sources: OnPay and Gusto pricing pages, checked Oct 16, 2026; Paylocity figure is an OutSail estimate (Jul 24, 2026), not a published price. Our arithmetic.

OnPay math: 5 workers is $49 + $30 + $15 + $10 = $104; 10 is $49 + $60 + $15 + $20 = $144; 25 is $49 + $150 + $15 + $50 = $264. If an isolved quote comes in above these for similar modules, ask the reseller what the difference pays for: implementation, a named service rep, or local tax handling. See HR and payroll software and payroll service costs for more.

Questions for an isolved quote

  1. Base fee, per-employee fee and whether it is charged per month or per pay run.
  2. Setup or implementation fee, as a dollar figure.
  3. Year-end W-2 and 1099 fees.
  4. Tax filing terms: penalties, interest, notice deadline and any cap.
  5. Contract term, auto-renewal, notice to leave and any early termination fee.
  6. How long you and your employees keep access to W-2s and pay stubs after the contract ends.
  7. Support hours and channels, and whether the reseller or isolved answers.

If you switch mid-year, agree who files the current quarter's Form 941 and who issues the year's W-2s (2026 forms are due February 1, 2027), and keep up any state wage reports so your new-employer SUTA rate does not jump.

isolved reviews

isolved has 4.3 out of 5 from 1,328 reviews on G2 and 3.0 out of 5 from 54 reviews on Trustpilot (both seen October 16, 2026). Fifty-four Trustpilot reviews is a small sample, and because many clients buy through resellers, reviews may reflect the reseller as much as isolved. We have not read individual isolved reviews to document complaint patterns.
